In July I had a big agoraphobia win, a friendship happiness, a skillset boost, and an admired-artist meeting all at once!

Alice Oseman was signing their final Heartstopper volume in a bookstore around 15 minutes walk from me. My awesome friend volunteered to go with me! I made Alice Oseman a sticker sheet of fanart for their work, which I drew and made myself at home - I finally sat down and learned how to use my Cricut machine to make sticker sheets!

I first made a sticker sheet for them when I went to their signing at Thought Bubble 5 years ago, so it was fun to make a new one this year and see my own improvements in art and in technical abilities (making the sheet entirely myself instead of sending off the design to a printing company). Being able to go to another signing event and meet them again felt like a cathartic full-circle moment, placing a finite circle between 2021 and 2026.

What an awesome day! The bookstore staff were helpful, Alice was lovely, and after I was able to hang out more outside with my friends.
